Conventional tactical vehicles are heavy, single-role transport units dependent on vulnerable, fuel-intensive idling and separate trailer-mounted generators. When operating in remote, degraded, or contested zones, logistics are your primary bottleneck.
The Custom-Built Pawnee Flagship TAV (Product 6) completely re-engineers tactical operations. By integrating high-mobility desert-racing chassis engineering, compact Wankel rotary power generation, composite armor protection, and full-stack edge virtualization, the TAV transitions from a transport vehicle into a highly integrated, hybrid-electric power plant and secure command base.
1. High-Mobility Trophy Truck Chassis Geometry
The physical foundation of the TAV is built on Unlimited Class Trophy Truck and 6100-class off-road race truck design principles. Fabricated from high-tensile steel tubing, this lightweight, high-strength chassis is integrated with a long-travel, high-mobility independent suspension system. This architecture absorbs massive high-speed vertical impacts, allowing the TAV to cross roadless washouts, rocks, and unpaved routes at speeds that would damage conventional utility vehicles, while reducing physical shock to passengers and sensitive onboard computer arrays.
2. The 160 kW-Class Rotary Range Extender & Onboard Battery
The TAV’s hybrid propulsion system uses a dual-source energy architecture:
- 160 kW-Class Range Extender: A highly compact, multi-fuel Wankel rotary generator engine under contract with Freedom Motors. It acts as an auxiliary power unit (APU) to charge the battery bank, support sustained off-road operations, and run high-demand external equipment.
- Approximately 30 kWh Permanent HV Battery: Provides energy storage for high-torque electric motors. It supports silent watch (operating sensors and communication arrays silently without running the generator) and silent mobility (low-signature crawling).
- 11 kW Bidirectional Interface: Allows the TAV to import clean power from microgrids or export AC and DC electricity to run shelters, radar arrays, or auxiliary off-grid outposts.
3. Full-Stack Edge Virtualization (The Sentry Core)
The TAV serves as a mobile data fortress. Its high-power DC outputs (specifically 48V and high-voltage internal buses) power local TPU hardware running DeReticular’s **RIOS** and secure, air-gapped **OpenClaw AI agents**. The system runs a bare-metal **Proxmox VE hypervisor** partitioned into three virtual machine enclaves:
- The pfSense Router: Manages secure local routing and sub-millisecond, packet-level WAN failover between Starlink satellite backhaul and bonded cellular lines via the integrated *WISP-in-a-Box* hardware.
- The Locutus Ledger: Coordinates and writes peer-to-peer V2V (Vehicle-to-Vehicle) and V2X state synchronization, keeping the TAV, companion buggies, and drone swarms constantly on the same page in offline Island Mode.
- The Kali Linux Auditor: Operates as an auto-immune system, scanning local software blocks for security vulnerabilities.
4. Ogre Skin Armor Protection
The main vehicle tub and high-voltage battery compartment are shielded by our proprietary **Ogre Skin** polymer-composite armor plating. Chemically engineered to slide over jagged, abrasive volcanic rocks and withstand extreme physical impacts, Ogre Skin is also highly resistant to corrosive marine salt-spray and prolonged humidity exceeding 84%.
5. Configurable Variant Architecture
We work directly with each client to build the TAV to their specific mission profile, utilizing our standard variant baselines:
- TAV-C2 (Command & Control): High-density edge compute, multiple satellite masts, and secure mesh networking.
- TAV-P (Mobile Power Node): Optimized for clean energy export, featuring enlarged LFP battery storage banks and bidirectional connection blocks.
- TAV-CUAS (Counter-UAS Support): Features structural brackets, high-power DC outputs, and water-jacketed thermal paths to host continuous-duty radar and C-UAS defeat arrays.
- TAV-U (Ghost / Optionally Crewed UGV): Outfitted with drive-by-wire servos, LIDAR sensors, and remote telemetry routing.
Bespoke Build Process & Logistics
Due to the tactical, highly customized nature of Product 6, each TAV is hand-assembled in our Sovereign Factory workshop. Following receipt of order, clients undergo a technical review with DeReticular and Pawnee engineers to lock in variant choices, interior layouts, armor packages, and custom paint finishes. Delivery times, transport logistics, and on-site training for partner maintenance teams are scheduled upon order validation.

Pawnee Mobility provides a 1-Year / 10,000-Mile limited warranty on the electric drivetrain and structural tubular chassis, and a 1-Year / 1000-Hour warranty on the rotary engine core. All structural and mechanical sub-assemblies are processed in our Sovereign Factory system to ensure 100% BABA (Build America, Buy America Act) and military-grade compliance.
