Long Description:
The RIOS Telemetry Core is not a hobby kit. It is a crypto-native server designed to live in the glovebox of a Kurb Kar.
Standard Raspberry Pis throttle under load and corrupt their SD cards when power is cut. The Telemetry Core solves this. We’ve encased a Raspberry Pi 5 (8GB Model) in a massive CNC Aluminum Armor Case that acts as a giant heatsink, keeping the Quad-Core Cortex-A76 processor cool enough to crunch Locutus smart contracts without stalling.
We’ve banished the SD card entirely. Every unit ships with a PCIe HAT and a high-endurance 256GB NVMe SSD. This ensures that your ledger data survives vibration, shock, and sudden power loss. With the pre-flashed RIOS Mobile Edition (Kubuntu 24.04), this node is ready to log GPS “Proof of Movement” and sync State Deltas the moment it boots.
Key Features:
-
Overkill Compute: 8GB RAM is mandatory for the heavy cryptography (Ed25519 signatures) required by the Freenet/Locutus ledger.
-
Vibration Proof: No moving parts, no loose SD cards. NVMe storage is bolted down via PCIe.
-
Active/Passive Hybrid Cooling: The aluminum chassis handles passive heat dissipation, while an emergency PWM blower fan engages only if core temps exceed 60°C.
-
Sensor Fusion: Integrated GPS/GLONASS logging (10Hz) creates the immutable location data required for Carbon Credit minting.
-
Offline First: Includes a Panasonic ML-2020 RTC battery to keep perfect time even when the grid goes down, ensuring your logs are never rejected by the chain.
